- 12 girls will be selected. Selections will be made by this Thursday 6/24, so hurry up & send your pic/vid to me!
- What you will get if you are selected: cash prize, plus you will receive the royal treatment beginning with high tea at the super cute Royal/T Cafe, then special transportation to Exposition Park & the LA Coliseum, free ticket in, free meals, transportation back to Royal/T Cafe at the end of the night, & a DVD of the film to prove that you weren’t, um, “imagining” it all. *wink*
- Don’t worry if you have no experience on camera. They are not looking for actors. It’s just gonna be a day and night of complete FUN… with cameras around you.
- I am not one of the judges, so bribing me won’t work. But I am obligated to forward ALL submissions, so you can be certain that if you send it to me, it will be seen by the judges.
- I will most likely be there for at least part of the filming, if that helps you feel like you’ve got someone you know with you.
- They want you to dress yourself, be yourself & have fun. It will be a BLAST!!! But I can give you some tips as to what they’re looking for:

They want Alice in Wonderland, Want Goth,  Want Fantastic, Want “darker” & more streetwise rather than “infantile”, DON’T want the typical raver look of colorful bracelets & pacifiers
- My suggestion: EVOLVE. Fashion is ever-changing. No one wants old & stale. We want to move forward. Newness and originality always get attention. I hope that helps. Good luck, everyone! The program EEO program so allows me to help out with other EEO programs and I think being exposed and helping plan other special emphasis groups programs give me so many more perspectives I would never otherwise be exposed to.  I am looking forward to the LGBT EEO program at my job. My good friend and I are helping the chairperson with the program. It should be educational and quite the celebration since it will be the first ever of it’s kind.

I celebrated St Patricks Day with my family on Sunday. It almost didn’t happen. However, my sister and I decided how important it was that we do celebrate our heritage for our daughters.  Our Irish roots come from our father- he has passed onto us the knowledge and love of our heritaga and now we had to keep the tradition going strong.  With the help of our Mom (who cooked the cornbeef and cabbage) and our brother (who provided the Guinness) we made it special.

My niece had her first St Patricks Day and my daughter, her only cousin got to celebrate with her.  That is a shared memory we have forever.  There was food, drink, irish jigs, friends and laughter and really that what it’s all about…being together to celebrate our love and respect of our heritage.
