Update: I was so so so glad that I decided to go to this sale!  I got some AMAZING deals that I never would have imagined I would get my hands on. I met some really cool people and I have some treasures to share with my daughter, sister and niece mainly for my sister, Jessica’s Harajuku Lover’s themed baby shower.  My haul included a tokidoki bag, hello kitty and twin stars goodies, tons of decora items and jewelry.  I also bought a pachinko machine for my hubby :) a super rare find! Thanks Jamie and Stephiee for all the super cute stuff!

Today my special package from JapanLA arrived today.  I just love my Hello Kitty necklace! It is so much more cute in my hot little hands than I thought it would be. The tokidoki bow on her head is just too much!

I am also the proud owner of the three new tokidoki trexi cell phone charms.  They are a little smaller than I thought they would be but I love them just the same. My fav is Corsaro Nero.

Jamie said they will be carrying the wallet, ID case, camera case, keychains, cell phone charms, mirror, pencil cases (2), plush and necklace.  They will not be carrying the bags or the watch.  Only a few stores will have those exclusively.  They will be carrying everything else though…They will have clothing, which Jamie said is awesome. There are t-shirts, tanks, shorts, hoodies and sweatpants…only 4 stores will carry the clothing and JapanLA is one of them!!! Yeah for us!!! 

Jamie also had the latest info on the new tokidoki bags.  They are tokidoki bags made my LeSportsac but without the Lesportsac logos.  There are 8 styles and 3 new prints. 

Carnival – carnival food and characters on it

Eco-Mondo – environmental print

Concerto Punk- a punk print

There is also a plain black and plain dark grey with a black print inside of Adios Star, Fantasmino, and white Nana Star pattern,  The bags come out August 2008.  Jamie has pictures at JapanLA, just ask their friendly staff to show them to you.

So this is some super, duper Valentine news….I think I may have to make a trip to see Jamie this weekend.

Sanrio has a new mascot in town, Kuromi!  She is super cute with a punk and gothic feel.  I think Kuromi will satisfy girls young and old who love Sanrio but secretly would love something a little more edgy.  I just adore Kuromi in her gothic maid outfit!  See more Kuromi at www.sanrio.com

So I been driving down Sawtelle Blvd. in Los Angeles for years and always wanted to walk into this ultra-chic store.  Today I just had to get out of the office and decided to get some air (and some lunch). Well, needless to say, I grabbed a green milk tea boba and took a short walk and ended up at “happy six” and boy am I glad I did.They had the most Tokidoki items for sale that I have ever seen. They had bags, shirt, hoodies, make-up, blind boxes, hats, skate decks and jewelry.  I could not believe it!

I think the owner was working this afternoon and I asked her if I could buy her display of a “Moofia” toy.  I explained how my daughter would just love it because she has wanted it ever since she saw it online.  I guess you figured out already that I bought it for my daughter (a cute stocking stuffer :) )

Happy Six also has a great selection of Harajuku Lovers watches, tees and bags. They of course have a ton of Hello Kitty, too!  I was suprised at the amount of Couture Disney, Peanuts and Sesame Street tees and trinkets as well. (I love all of them!!!)

Tokidoki fans across the globe have been anxiously awaiting the tokidoki and Hello Kitty collabo.  The first release date anyone heard was December 2007 regarding the jewelery line. (great for the holidays!).  It seems that there have been some sightings in Japan regarding the new line that are available only in Japan :( Have no fear, I am sure we will see some items soon… I hope.
