Update: I was so so so glad that I decided to go to this sale!  I got some AMAZING deals that I never would have imagined I would get my hands on. I met some really cool people and I have some treasures to share with my daughter, sister and niece mainly for my sister, Jessica’s Harajuku Lover’s themed baby shower.  My haul included a tokidoki bag, hello kitty and twin stars goodies, tons of decora items and jewelry.  I also bought a pachinko machine for my hubby a super rare find! Thanks Jamie and Stephiee for all the super cute stuff!

The frenzy ended around 8:22 and my heart was still racing and pounding so hard.  I was able to get all of the items I wanted for Christmas.  My sister was also so happy to get all the items she wanted for her two kids (and the baby she is expecting, too). I have to admit although the launch at Target was super fun I think the best part of the whole morning was spending it with my brother and sister singing Christmas carols and sipping hot chocolate in my car.

I am a huge fan of Gwen Stefani’s whole line of Harajuku Girls perfume, jewelry, clothing and especially her purses and bags. I was so excited to see a new line called Harajuku Mini in school supplies and back packs during my back to school shopping with my teenage daughter. This clothing line will be for children 6 months and up and available on-line and in Target stores on November 13th

- Don’t worry if you have no experience on camera. They are not looking for actors. It’s just gonna be a day and night of complete FUN… with cameras around you.
- I am not one of the judges, so bribing me won’t work. But I am obligated to forward ALL submissions, so you can be certain that if you send it to me, it will be seen by the judges.
- I will most likely be there for at least part of the filming, if that helps you feel like you’ve got someone you know with you.
- They want you to dress yourself, be yourself & have fun. It will be a BLAST!!! But I can give you some tips as to what they’re looking for:

They want Alice in Wonderland, Want Goth,  Want Fantastic, Want “darker” & more streetwise rather than “infantile”, DON’T want the typical raver look of colorful bracelets & pacifiers
- My suggestion: EVOLVE. Fashion is ever-changing. No one wants old & stale. We want to move forward. Newness and originality always get attention. I hope that helps. Good luck, everyone!
