New Spring looks from Harajuku Lovers

Harajuku Lovers has some ultra sporty and very collegiate looking designs for this Spring. The fact that they can be worn casual during the day or maybe dressed up with accessories for a night on the town makes them fun pieces to have in your wardrobe.  I love the colors HL uses in all their designs.  The bright colors, logos, and adorable L.A.M.B mascots make you smile just by looking at them.  Visit www.harajukulovers.com for more new Spring designs in bags and lounge wear.

Hello Kitty’s new BFF, Kuromi!

Sanrio has a new mascot in town, Kuromi!  She is super cute with a punk and gothic feel.  I think Kuromi will satisfy girls young and old who love Sanrio but secretly would love something a little more edgy.  I just adore Kuromi in her gothic maid outfit!  See more Kuromi at www.sanrio.com

tokidoki + snow = fun

I just read about this new collabo posted at the tokidoki.it website.  I am not a snowboarder by any means (my husband is however) but I just may have to give it a whirl with these tokidoki designs to drool over.  So far they seem to have lots of snow apparel, snow boards, boots and bindings.  From what I can gather from their website, RIDE is pretty big in the world of snowboarding.  Check out their site at www.ridesnowboards.com

Gotta have this item now!

purseorgnzrs_l.jpg

I saw this revolutionary item on Oprah and I just have to get it.  This could change my life forever. Of course, being a tokodoki bag lover I change my bags often to match my mood or my outfit.  When I do change bags, I always miss something in the transfer: my favorite lip gloss, office keys or kleenex.  This is a must have for purse lovers everywhere.

It will organize all your fav items neatly in your bag and will expand or collapse to fit your bag.  For something that will change my life forever, I think the $19.99 price tag is very reasonable.  You can get yours at www.thecontainerstore.com. I love the fun and bright polka dot print and I will probably get one for my sister and all my girlfriends.

It was a tokidoki weekend in Las Vegas

Posted on Sunday 6 January 2008

I just got back from Las Vegas and it was really wonderful.  My husband took me for my birthday (I love you, husband!) and we took our daughter.  Needless, to say we had some really good sightseeing, good food and did some really good shopping.

We totally hit the malls and ended up at the local Macy’s.  They were closing their store and had 25%, 40% specials and for out of town customers, we received an additional 11% off any purchase.  Of course, I only found two tokidoki bags and they were both Bianco. Not my fav but my daughter found a cute Harajuku Lovers bag she liked and some super cute Roxy shoes.  Both on clearance so they ending up being super cheap after all the discounts.

We went to the new Planet Hollywood hotal (aka Sahara) and my daughter saw the tokidoki cactus pups blind boxes at the Urban Outfitters in the Miracle Mile Shops.  We picked up one for her.

The best deal of all was when my daughter and I went went to the Urban Outfitters in the Mandalay Bay hotel.  They had tokidoki Moofia blind boxes on clearance for $4.99 (normally $7.00 each).  I could not believe it.  I had to get three.  Luckily, some of the boxes were slightly open and I got three that I did not already have.

Of course, my daughter also found the new Hello Kitty blind boxes.  These vinyls are a limited edition Hello Kitty and about 4 inches tall and covered in rainbow hearts.  My daughter now tells me she wants to collect the Hello Kitty blind boxes. (I think I have created a monster)

We all had a great trip and got some really great shopping deals.  The moral of the story:  Forget giving the casinos your money, go to the Mall and shop till you drop!
