Check your Qees on your Amore bag at Macy’s!

This is a Public Service Announcement:  for all you tokidoki fans who are planning on getting your Amore bags at Macy’s (Woodland Hills, CA).  I was there over the weekend and noticed that all the Amore bags were missing their Qees.  I asked the sales associate about this and she said that they are “holding onto them for safekeeping and once the bag is purchased we give them the Qee”.

Well, I think this can be good and bad. For more experienced tokidoki fans, this is a good thing- authentic Qees cannot get stolen, but the bags can be damaged when the Qees are removed.

For newbies, they may not know about the Qee and get an inexperienced or misinformed employee who does not remember to give the customer their Qees and then they will be without one. Also, consider the possibility, that by the time you purchase your bag all the Qees may have “disappeared and not be available”.  This can be quite a dilemma, when you consider the value of the bag- the Qee is a very crucial part of the unique design and overall appeal of the bag.

As a side note, once the missing Qee is discovered, you can imagine how difficult it would be to explain to Macy’s that you bought the bag “without it attached”–hhhmmm, sounds like a problem nobody would want to deal with.
